Kane County United is a multi-racial, multi-generational, multi-disciplinary coalition that cuts across class distinctions to transform, educate, and engage community members.
We are a non-partisan organization of community nonprofits, churches, unions, and individuals who are committed to social transformation that uses inclusive, proven models for improvement.
Our organizational values are democratic (little d), and based in racial equity and inclusion as we support efforts toward more affordable housing, youth empowerment, and an increase in mental health services and education.

Our mission is to improve the lives of Kane County residents through community organizing while working towards inclusive and innovative social solutions.
What We Do
We strive to be outcome-driven, action-oriented, humanity-centric and practical while dreaming of and working for a better world. Our current efforts revolve around fostering a more inclusive community for all while supporting efforts for housing, youth empowerment, and mental health.
Safe, Affordable Housing Options
We believe many of the challenges faced by people in poverty can be resolved or severely mitigated by providing stability through the opportunity to live in a place of their own.
Youth Empowerment
Empowering young people to take charge of their lives can inspire them to be future decision-makers for our communities. Our work involves bringing youth into conversations and events while providing education on the importance of community.
Mental Health Services & Education
Community education can help mitigate the stigma associated with mental health conditions while also fostering an inclusive community for our neighbors.
